Our History

Founded originally as RyderMarshSharman and led by Dr Tim Marsh and Andrew Sharman, RMS has evolved as a result of changes in our client needs, geographies and in our work activities. The world has become smaller as the organizations with whom we partner have grown, so RMS serves the international and global marketplace to help leaders at all levels bring strategy to life and build strong sustainable organizational cultures with employee safety, health and wellbeing at their heart.

We work with companies across all industries – from multi-national sectorleading PLCs and household names; oil & gas platforms to manufacturing facilities; and from Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to academic institutions - by helping them build cultures of care where leaders engage and empower their people, and everyone goes home without harm, every day.

RMS is still managed by its Founder, Andrew Sharman, who in addition to his consulting and coaching work with our clients serves as Professor of Leadership, Safety Culture and Risk Management for several prestigious academic institutions, including the Centre for Executive Development at INSEAD in France and the University of Zurich, Switzerland.
